Here is a list of the types of licensed Healthcare Professionals that may be able to practice during a Brigade
A Medical or Dental Brigade Chapter that recruits Healthcare Professionals to participate in their Brigade may be eligible to receive a scholarship.
In addition to getting a scholarship, licensed Healthcare Professionals may be approved to practice the following specialties, which vary by country:
HONDURAS
- Dentist
- Dermatologist
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
- Doctor of Internal Medicine (e.g. Pulmonologist, Cardiologist)
- General Practitioners, Family Physicians
- Registered Dietician, Nutritionist
- Obstetrician/Gynecologist
- Optometrist, Doctor of Optometry
- Ophthalmologist
- Pediatrician
- Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist
- Physician's Assistant
- 3rd and 4th-Year Medical Students
