Honduras: What You Should Know

Population: 10.6M

Age Range: 66% of Hondurans are between the ages of 15–64

In Honduras, rural and Indigenous populations face major obstacles to healthcare, including high out-of-pocket costs and long travel distances to medical facilities. Public hospitals often operate over capacity and under-resourced.

Our global health initiatives in Honduras strengthen local healthcare systems by supporting rural clinics, offering patient-centered mobile care, empower Community Health Workers, and collaborating with community leaders to drive sustainable health outcomes.
