Professor Outreach

Hello [Professor's Name],

I hope this email finds you well. My name is [Your Name], and I am one of the Chapter Leaders for the Global Medical Brigades Chapter at [University Name].

Global Brigades is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization that implements a Holistic Model to meet a community’s health and economic goals. The model builds community ownership and collaboratively executes programs to resolve health and economic disparities.

Global Medical Brigades Chapters are empowered to support rural healthcare through Medical Brigades. During our seven days abroad, volunteers will gain clinical experience working at mobile clinics and preventative health workshops. Volunteers also have the opportunity to shadow licensed physicians and dentists during consultations.

Outside of this week-long program, Global Brigades staff -- local to each partner country -- works year-round on health, WASH, and economic development programs.

I am building a team of 14 volunteers to participate in our upcoming Brigade from [Start Date] to [End Date] in [Country Name].

If you wouldn't mind, could you please share these details with students who may be interested in this opportunity? Interested students should fill out or sign up [here: insert link]. They can also reach out to me directly at [Your Email Address] if they need more information.

If you have any questions, I’d be happy to share more and/or connect you with a direct representative from Global Brigades.

Thank you so much for your time, and I appreciate you helping me pass all this information along.

Sincerely,
