If you're planning a Brigade in Panama, add-ons are a great way to customize the standard itinerary for your Chapter. Here are some options that are available to you.

Do you feel like your brigade itinerary is missing something? You can now add impact and cultural activities to your itinerary. You will fundraise the corresponding donation to add extra days to your Brigade, and Global Brigades will help you arrange all of the details.

Panama Canal: Miraflores Locks visit and Casco Viejo

The Miraflores Locks visitor center is the right place to experience the unique Panama Canal. There you can find different activities to learn and enjoy the Panama Canal.

Explore Casco Viejo, Panama City's historic district, and discover Panama's history in this Cultural World Heritage Site.

Panama Canal and Monkey Island tour

The Monkey Island tour provides a unique way to experience the Panama Canal.

Public Health Day

May include one or multiple of the following activities:
Wastewater treatment system designs, Quality analysis of treated water discharge, Hygiene station construction, Implementation of hygiene promotion plans, Design of public health plans (Malaria, cholera, dengue, solid waste management), Sensitization on the risks of open defecation.

Participate in an research project to evaluate the long term impact of our year-round primary health care initiatives (CHEs) by helping conduct community member surveys and interviewing CHEs.
