      Ghana Brigade Add-Ons

      If you’re planning a Brigade in Ghana, add-ons are a great way to customize our standard itinerary for your Chapter. Take a look at the add-on options that are available

      Do you feel like your Brigade itinerary is missing something? Well, you can now add impact and cultural activities to it!

      To add extra days to your Brigade, you will need to fundraise the corresponding donation amounts. Global Brigades will help you arrange all of the details. 

      Kakum National Park Tour (Canopy Walk)

      At Kakum National Park, you can learn more about endangered and rare animals like the Diana Monkey, Bongo, and Yellow-backed Duiker. You can also observe various species of herbaceous and woody plants. 

      Located in Assin Attandanso Reserve, the Kakum National Park and Canopy Walkway offer visitors spectacular scenery.

      Public Health Project

      Visit a Public Health Project or a school in Ghana's rural communities and support maintenance work.

      No construction is included; instead, maintenance work on previous Public Health Projects will be accomplished by working alongside local community members.

      Visit CHPS for Maintenance Work or to Donate Supplies and Medications

      Visit Ghana's rural community CHPS (Community Health and Planning Services) to help with structural maintenance work or to donate supplies and medications. 

      CHPS is integral to Ghana's strategy for providing community-level healthcare services and plays a crucial role in overall health planning.

      Biodigester Construction

      Work with public health technicians to implement biodigester construction for 2 days in Ghana's rural communities.

      The biodigester serves as a sustainable waste and sewerage management system, where organic material can be biologically digested.

      Medical Immersion

      Shadow doctors for 2 days in hospital rotations at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.

      Shadowing various procedures and surgeries in a hospital setting allows you to learn from licensed healthcare professionals.
