What Are My Fundraising Deadlines?

All volunteers who wish to participate in a Brigade must meet the following Donation Goal fundraising deadlines. Included in this article are fundraising deadlines for in-person Brigades.

If a volunteer is unable to meet their Brigade’s fundraising deadlines, they can instead join a future Brigade to give themselves more time to meet their Donation Goal.

In-Person Brigade Fundraising Deadlines:
1. Enrollment Deadline

The Enrollment Deadline is the first of three total fundraising deadlines and equals the amount required to secure a spot on the Brigade.

• When is it due? The Enrollment Deadline amount is due 127 days before the Brigade start date.
• What amount is due? Volunteers must have $250/£200 on their fundraising page to secure a spot on the Brigade.

2. Flight Deadline

The Flight Deadline is the second of three total fundraising deadlines and is the amount required to secure a spot on the Brigade and flight for Brigade travel.

• When is it due? The Flight Deadline amount is due 67 days before the Brigade start date.
• What amount is due? If you are booking flights through Global Brigades, volunteers should have fundraised $1,250 (if Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, or Panama) or $1,500 (Greece or Ghana). This is in addition to the Initial Donation of $250/£200. 
  
  Reminder: Each volunteer should have also completed their Brigade Roster Questionnaire on MyBrigades by this deadline.

3. Final Deadline

The Final Deadline is the third of three total fundraising deadlines and is the full amount required to participate in a Brigade. 

• When is it due? The Final Deadline amount is due 37 days before the Brigade start date.
• What amount is due? Volunteers must have the total Donation Goal on their MyBrigades fundraising page.
