Fundraising Calendar Instructions

Make a Copy of the Calendar Template because it is a shared Canva file; do not edit the original.

Instead:

• Open the template link
• Click “View Template" and "Open in Editor"
• Rename your version (e.g., “Chapter” GMB Fundraising Calendar – 2026”)
• Save it to your Chapter’s Canva folder

This ensures every Chapter starts from the same baseline and no one overwrites shared assets.

What You Can Customize

These sections are yours to edit, so the calendar reflects your events, team culture, and campus community:

• Images: If you choose, you can replace images from your Chapter of past Brigades
• Add Fundraising Events: Add activities you’re planning this year
• Ways to Give: Add your Chapter email, social handles, or QR codes

What Should NOT Be Changed

To maintain brand alignment across all chapters, please do not edit:

• Global Brigades logo (placement, color, spacing, size)
• Official GB messaging blocks 
• Brand fonts (unless replacing with the Canva equivalents already in the template)

These elements ensure our materials remain consistent across the entire movement.

Exporting Your Customized Calendar

Once customized, you can download the calendar by exporting it as a PDF for printing.

Printing Your Calendar

You will have to print the 2026 calendar to sell. Here, we suggest some printing options for you. If possible, quote printing locally, since you might get a better deal. 

Make sure you are selecting 8.5” x 5.5” when selecting the size of your printing.
