Lamanai Archaeological Reserve

The commute time for this activity is up to 3 hours each way (there and back totals 6 hours), so please keep this in mind if you're thinking of selecting this Add-On for your Brigade.

Lamanai ("submerged crocodile") is one of the oldest, continuously inhabited archaeological zones in the Mayan World. It is also one of a handful of Maya sites that has retained its original name.

Caracol is an archaeological zone located in the Western part of Belize.

Located in a tropical rainforest at the base of the Maya Mountains, it is the largest archaeological zone in Belize.

Xunantunich is an archaeological zone located in the Western part of Belize along the border of Guatemala. It is situated on a high ridge overlooking the Mopan River.

Xunantunich is set within a tropical forest preserve with a compact core center.
